Welcome to our website!
You are warmly invited to come along to our Sunday morning Encountering God meeting. God draws near to those who draw near to Him, honouring His Son. Jesus!!
We are meeting at St James Trust, Blatchington Road for three months while the Clinton Centre undergoes extensive building work
We meet at 10.00am on Sundays and We run a 'Children's Special' alongside the adults meeting.
The 'Encountering God' meeting varies enormously week by week but generally there will be worship and a shortish time of instruction to help us better our relationship with God. Often there are times of prayer for healing, forgiveness, testimonies of how God has worked in people's lives and times of listening to God. About once a month we have a fellowship lunch to which enquirers are welcome.
We have monthly ladies meeting and regular bible studies, men's meetings and a great emphasis on prayer and spiritual life.
Rev 22:17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost. [Isa. 55:1.]
Our longing as a group is for many others to come to know the love of God in their hearts as we have come to know it, to lose guilt shame, fear, rejection and isolation as they put their trust in Jesus death for them on the cross and to experience the power of His resurrection.
We love Him because he first loved us!
Pastor Peter
